AMFT

I am passionate about connecting with adolescents and adults. I have served as a high school therapist, supporting adolescents through individual and group therapy. I possess two years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient adult programs, focusing on mental health and chemical dependency at Sharp Mesa Vista and Sharp McDonald Center. In these settings, I conduct individual/family therapy sessions, facilitate group therapy, and facilitate family programs that support patients’ loved ones.

I also have experience with ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, conflict resolution, and relationship challenges; I hold a Level 1 Certificate in Gottman Training, which employs strategies to help couples work through conflict. I take an accepting and nurturing approach and seek to uniquely connect with each person in my care.

I possess a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT # 136193) training to become a licensed therapist, I work under the supervision of ETSD’s Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Aimee Vadnais, PsyD, LMFT (PSY 21368, MFC #39973), and the guidance of the Clinical Director, Tiffany Triplett, LMFT (LMFT #123272). My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and involves attachment theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques.
